projects – mongolia national art gallery  2013
GER TO GER, Mongolia National Art Gallery, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, 22-31 August 2013. Invited by Nine Dragon Heads to participate in the Nomadic Party #3 Project. Jayne joined 12 international artists for a 2700km off-road experience in Mongolia. Committed to building intercultural ties, the group engaged with local communities and Mongolian artists. Performances and site specific installations were enacted in various locations throughout Mongolia, culminating in Ger to Ger at the Mongolian Art Gallery. Jayne’s performance Sky Channel reflects on our fragile relationship with resources.
